Sly Rivers

Based out of Northern California, Sly Rivers is musical project shaped by late nights, long drives, and a lot of time spent figuring things out. The sound sits somewhere around indie folk, with some different influences like punk and bluegrass, and songs that tend to stick around after the first listen. A first record is in the works, and a run of shows is coming up this fall and winter.

This is a second try at choosing your own path after Sly Rivers had a past career of trying to play pro golf as well as caddie on tour. There are a lot of parallels between gigging musician and lower-level pro golfer: no guarantees, just some grit and some dreams.

Sly Rivers is open for playing coffee shops, bars, clubs, house shows, festivals and wherever else might let him in the doors.
